• HPGG 2nd Editorial Board Meeting Successfully Held
  

  We are pleased to announce that the first session of the Second Editorial Board Meeting of Human Population Genetics and Genomics (HPGG) was successfully held on April 15, 2025. A total of 15 distinguished scholars participated in this online meeting, including the two Editors-in-Chief, one Associate Editor, five members of the Advisory Board, and seven members of the Editorial Board.

  The meeting featured engaging discussions on the journal’s strategic development, covering key topics such as content planning, quality enhancement, promotional initiatives, and future indexing objectives. Participants offered valuable suggestions and expressed their strong support for the continued growth of the journal.

  We extend our heartfelt thanks to all attendees for their insights and dedication. With such a committed and collaborative editorial team, HPGG is well-positioned to expand its global impact in the field of human population genetics and genomics.

  A second session of the meeting is scheduled for early May 2025.

• HPGG Inaugural Meeting of the Editorial Board
  
  The first meeting of the Editorial Board of the journal Human Population Genetics and Genomics (HPGG) was successfully held online on February 13, 2023. Attendees included the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor, 7 Advisory Board members, and 13 Editorial Board members. Thus, in total, 22 science editors of the journal attended the meeting along with the publishers. A lively discussion yielded a number of constructive suggestions for the future development of HPGG. • NEW! Authors can now submit to HPGG via PCI RR
  
  Authors can now submit a Registered Report to HPGG via the Peer Community in Registered Reports (PCI RR). PCI RR performs peer review of Stage 1 and Stage 2 preprints and then offers authors the opportunity to publish their approved manuscript without further peer review in a range of journals (including HPGG). Further guidance concerning the PCI RR platform may be found at https://rr.peercommunityin.org/.
