Digital Agriculture is an international peer-reviewed, Open Access journal focusing on the design, development and application of digital technologies in agriculture, including precision farming, smart irrigation, precision animal management, agricultural robotics, and big data analytics. The scope of the journal encompasses research on a broad range of digital technologies for agriculture, including but not limited to agricultural sensors and sensing, agricultural Internet of Things (Ag-IoT), agricultural and rural connectivity, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous farming systems, agricultural energy harvesting, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), agricultural cloud computing, and human-computer interaction. Studies on integrating these technologies to support decision-making in various aspects of agriculture, such as animal management, crop management, soil health, water resources, and pest control, are particularly encouraged. Additionally, research on the development of digital technologies for sustainable agriculture, including the reduction of environmental impacts, harvesting resources, and optimizing resource utilization, is also within the journal’s scope.
